I have a hard time with inspiration at my craft table these days BUT here is a card that a just made...

Tomorrow I´m off on a little suprise trip with my sister, my birthday present from her and her family.
It´s going to be sooooo much fun.

The bags are packed.
Me and my hubby is going on a little vaccation to Hamburg.
We leave tomorrow morning and will be back Friday or Saturday.

It´s going to be lovely to see something else rather than just the usual surroundings.
Do you think I will find a scrapstore, HOPE SO, haha!!

When my niece, sister and I was at a garden centre the other day we saw some pretty cute bird houses.
My niece asked me if we could try to make some in paper.
So I thought why not.

Said and done.......here are the results........LOTS of pictures, haha.
Really FUN and quite easy to do.

We used spellbinder dies, paper rolls, acrylic paint, glitter, sand and some other decorations.
We really made a mess and I just love to have her company.
She is so creative AND fun to be arround♥!!

I love making tags.
So when my friend asked me if I wanted to make some for her, of course I said YES!

Perfect for trying new techniques.

For the first ones I used this cut out Die from Marianne design as a template and inked it up with Distress ink and finally clear embossed it.



Different kinds of background stamps......

 

........stickles, pearls and China girls from Hero Arts cut out and glued on the tags.

I think this little cutie is saying HELLO to the spring!



The two last ones is tags for easter.
So of course I had to use this little cool die that I got from Jaqcue.
I know that this rooster is one of her favourites;=D!!

Not much going on at this blog BUT I still do create.

Just have a hard time to get it out on my blog.

I have been doing some flowers.
Love to create them and just make a mess with punches, papers, glitter and Distress inks.

The first ones is flowers that I bought....covered them with utee and I think they turned out pretty cute.
Shiny like they were made out of glass



Four flowers that I have made.
I have put them on a piece of paper and thought that would make a great gift card.
Did not attach them to hard so that the person who gets the card can take them off and use them on their own project.



Here are some other flowers that I have made.



All the flowers are made from aquarelle paper and........



then I colored them with.......



my Distress inks.



If you want to know how I made them just let me know and I will try to do a tutorial.

Don´t know what to say about this card more than I´ve used many different kind of images.
I think at least five. Love to make a mess with my stamps and try to make a card.

For the card I also used Mod Podge, MS punches, Cuttlebug dies, buttons and some pearls.
Think that´s about it!!

I have made another card for Friday Sketchers and Just Magnolia.

This is the sketch for this week.

"Favorite Color Combo"!

So I think I will start with a close up on my card this time.
Crazy color on my charm BUT it is the sun shining on it AND we don´t complain about that, do we, haha?!
I think the spring finally has arrived!!



This is how the whole card looks like.

My favourite colors, blue, brown, green and pink.
The image, an older one from hÄnglar, is once again colored with my Darwent pencils and the Post Card stamp is from unity Stamps.
I have also bought a new die, the green leaf swirl, and it´s from Marianne design, LOVE IT!!
Papers from MME and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.



The BIG die behind the image is a gift from my Sweet friend Christina.
Thank You so VERY MUCH I love it♥.
I just cut out half of the die. This is a BIG set of dies called Grand Nestabilities label four.
So if you haven´t been over at her blog yet you just must go over there right away.
She makes the most wonderful things!

Tried to tie a bow but it didn´t turn out nice AT ALL.
I think I need a teacher to SHOW me how do it right:=D!!

This week it´s my Sweet friend Jacque that has provided a sketch for Friday sketcher.
So of course I had to play along!

Great sketch and so much fun to work with.



This is how the card turned out.

The papers are from Basic Grey called green at heart.
It was a gift from Jacque. Thank you Sweetie I just love them.
Had a little trouble to cut in them, BUT i did survive.......haha well you know me my friend!!

The image and the sentiment is from hÄnglar and she is colored with my Derwent pencils.
Lots of glitter BUT it hardly shows on the picture....but belive me it´s there!

The little pink butterfly has it´s own little story.....someone thinks it´s SOOOO funny, haha!!

Friday sketchers has a great sketch from Rachel that I just had to try.



Still practicing with my color pencils AND I just have to get me some black and grey tones.
Haven´t got one single, poor me, haha.

I was going to clean up my craft table....instead I ended up making a tag.
Sooooo typical me......I have a constant chaos!!
Maybe that works best for me.........when and IF I clean up it seems as my inspiration flies out off the window.

Not much to say about this tag more than that I love to make a mess and try new techniques with my Distress inks.

You know what?
I found a new passion, COLOR PENCILS!! Just LOVE them and I want ALL the colors in the world RIGHT AWAY.

Don´t you just LOVE this hobby. Well one things for sure I´m NOT going to be richer......but what the heck I only live ones, haha!!

On this card I´ve colored with my Derwent Artits. No close up on the image, my first try with the pencils;=D!!
I have to do a lot of practicing, but I love to color with them so that will not be a problem!

The word "hi" is cut out from a Cuttlebug alphabet and I´ve put a few layers of Distrress stickles Rock Candy on them.
