2011-05-03 Tutorial Birdhouse
I have got some questions about my birdhouses.
So I made a tutorial for you.
The pictures are not the best. Took them inside and late in the evening.
If you have any questions please let me know.
So here we go:
First some pictures of the roof cut out of a Spellbinder die.
Drew a cross so that I could find the middle.
Cut out a piece.......
put some glue on......
and glued it together.
Parts for the house........
glued together and made a whole.
This is for the bottom.......
glued the pieces together and made a whole for the stick
LOTS of glue!!
The parts glued together with LOTS of glue!!
Use a glue that dries clear.
It doesn´t matter if you use to much glue.
Just sprinkle some glitter over and it will be ok when it gets dry.
THAT`S IT the house is decorated and............
put in a pot!
Please let me know if you try to make one so that I can come and visit.
2011-04-25 Hamburg next!!
The bags are packed.
Me and my hubby is going on a little vaccation to Hamburg.
We leave tomorrow morning and will be back Friday or Saturday.
It´s going to be lovely to see something else rather than just the usual surroundings.
Do you think I will find a scrapstore, HOPE SO, haha!!
You can find the tutorial for the bags over at this talented girls blog.
See you next week.
Take care and a BIG hug to you all!
2011-04-22 Bird houses
♥ ♥ ♥
When my niece, sister and I was at a garden centre the other day we saw some pretty cute bird houses.
My niece asked me if we could try to make some in paper.
So I thought why not.
Said and done.......here are the results........LOTS of pictures, haha.
Really FUN and quite easy to do.
We used spellbinder dies, paper rolls, acrylic paint, glitter, sand and some other decorations.
We really made a mess and I just love to have her company.
She is so creative AND fun to be arround♥!!
Glad Påsk/Happy Easter on this one.......
two TINY TINY ones.......
and this one is on a stick to put in a flower!
If you have any questions on the houses please let me know.
I will also try to make a tutorial on my flowers this weekend as I promissed.
Take care my Friends and I hope you will have a lovely Easter.
Big hugs for you all♥
2011-04-18 Tags Tags and Tags!
I love making tags.
So when my friend asked me if I wanted to make some for her, of course I said YES!
Perfect for trying new techniques.
For the first ones I used this cut out Die from Marianne design as a template and inked it up with Distress ink and finally clear embossed it.
Different kinds of background stamps......
........stickles, pearls and China girls from Hero Arts cut out and glued on the tags.
Background stamp from Panduro.
Stamped and embossed with Turquoise Sparkle.
Two tags with different tulip stamps.
I think this little cutie is saying HELLO to the spring!
The two last ones is tags for easter.
So of course I had to use this little cool die that I got from Jaqcue.
I know that this rooster is one of her favourites;=D!!
That´s it from me today.
Have a lovely day
Just a quick posting before I go out in the garden.
We have a lovely weather here today so I just have to go out and put my fingers in the soil and get dirty.
LOVE LOVE gardening!
If you haven´t been over on this blog before please hop over and take a look at ALL the lovely things this girl creats.
So much inspiration and lovely ideas ♥♥ AND she also has a magnificent candy going on!!
So why not take part when you are over there!!
That´s it for me this time.
Wishing you a lovely weekend.
Not much going on at this blog BUT I still do create.
Just have a hard time to get it out on my blog.
I have been doing some flowers.
Love to create them and just make a mess with punches, papers, glitter and Distress inks.
The first ones is flowers that I bought....covered them with utee and I think they turned out pretty cute.
Shiny like they were made out of glass
Four flowers that I have made.
I have put them on a piece of paper and thought that would make a great gift card.
Did not attach them to hard so that the person who gets the card can take them off and use them on their own project.
Here are some other flowers that I have made.
All the flowers are made from aquarelle paper and........
then I colored them with.......
my Distress inks.
If you want to know how I made them just let me know and I will try to do a tutorial.
That´s it for today.
Hope you all will have a lovely weekend♥!!
You can find some stamps, and other things, that I have for sale here!
Don´t know what to say about this card more than I´ve used many different kind of images.
I think at least five. Love to make a mess with my stamps and try to make a card.
For the card I also used Mod Podge, MS punches, Cuttlebug dies, buttons and some pearls.
Think that´s about it!!
With some pictures from my garden I want to wish you ALL a wonderful weekend.
Don´t know what they are called in English but in Swedish it´s snöklockor.
I think they are soooo pretty♥!!
See you next time
2011-03-20 FS and JM
I have made another card for Friday Sketchers and Just Magnolia.
This is the sketch for this week.
Love all the layers going on..........
and the challange this week over at Just Magnolia and hanglar & sTanglar challange is
"Favorite Color Combo"!
So I think I will start with a close up on my card this time.
Crazy color on my charm BUT it is the sun shining on it AND we don´t complain about that, do we, haha?!
I think the spring finally has arrived!!
This is how the whole card looks like.
My favourite colors, blue, brown, green and pink.
The image, an older one from hÄnglar, is once again colored with my Darwent pencils and the Post Card stamp is from unity Stamps.
I have also bought a new die, the green leaf swirl, and it´s from Marianne design, LOVE IT!!
Papers from MME and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The BIG die behind the image is a gift from my Sweet friend Christina.
Thank You so VERY MUCH I love it♥.
I just cut out half of the die. This is a BIG set of dies called Grand Nestabilities label four.
So if you haven´t been over at her blog yet you just must go over there right away.
She makes the most wonderful things!
That´s it from me this time.
See you next time
Big hugs for you all
